Adidas have been progressively enhancing the F50 tunit model of football boot, and in the Champions League final this evening Lionel Messi will be wearing the latest in the family, the F50i tunit football boots for the first time.

The F50i continues the model’s theme of a lightweight boot, although you can now also choose to have the boot in a k-leather upper as well, so if you liked the idea of one boot for all seasons but preferred a traditional upper, then the F50i tunit is finally for you with choices of black or white upper. Of course if you liked the lightweight supple, easy-care and water-repellent SprintSkin upper then the colourway you want is the cyan and black pair shown above.
Released on 9th July, you can pre-order them comparing the prices below. After being worn in the Champions League Final, the F50i Tunit will then be worn by a host of international stars in the World Cup Qualifiers, including Adebayor, Villa, Robben, Ashley Cole and Defoe amongst others.
If you like being able to choose between the upper of the boot, and then once you have bought them the insole, and stud layout and type, then the tunit series is the one for you. Also, the chassis of the boot can be customised – the comfort chassis offers perfect stability and stud pressure distribution, whilst the ultra-lightweight chassis additionally offers maximum flexibility in the forefoot area and significantly reduced weight.
