Under Armour Dominate Pro and Create Pro Football Boots

It’s not everyday that a new brand enters the football boot arena, so we’re pretty excited about the new Under Armour boots available for the first time this summer.
Under Armour are best known for their base layer products – the tops, shorts and all in one’s have gained a lot of popularity over the past couple of years, and now the company has decided to move into the lucrative football boot market. Previously, Under Armour have created a rugby boot, and it seemed sensible to transfer the boot making ability over to the football world currently driven by the big names like Nike and Adidas.
The boot line up has two models to begin with, the Dominate Pro and Create Pro.
With the Dominate Pro they havn’t tried to be too revolutionary – it is a k-leather boot with an offset lace and traditional stud layout (soft or firm ground), similar in style to an AdiPure II and for the type of player that chooses the AdiPure, Tiempo or King. They look pretty good in black or white (with a couple of black highlights) and although they don’t stand out above the rest in terms of getting the product noticed, will not be seen as some sort of gimmick.
The Create Pro is a bit different and a bit more outlandish – available again in black (with yellow highlighting) or white, the Create Pro has a “shell” look about it which is hard to explain and much easier to see in the picture on the right! Essentially there is an outer shell which gives the boots its structure and strength, but this doesn’t cover the whole boot – instead in the gaps there is a micro-fiber layer which gives both good feel to the ball and a really lightweight upper.
So whether you like your boots lightweight or traditional, Under Armour have a boot for you. Check out the prices below to see if they suit you!
