With the image embargo lifted on the Predator X football boots we can now show you the all new Adidas Predator model, replacing the Powerswerve. Rather than go into too much detail right now, we’re going to go straight into the images for you of the two colourways released at launch, the red/black and white/yellow. More information on the technology behind the boots scroll below the photos, and to buy them just look at the panel on the right which will show you the latest prices from around the web.
The black and red version doesn’t lead itself to great photos hence we’ve used the white and yellow to show off the new look of the boot more in the above photos. We weren’t sure on the look of the boots when we first saw them, but they have grown on us a bit and the white and yellow version looks quite smart. These boots will be worn by Gerrard, Raul, Ballack, Kuyt and many more players around Europe and the world over the next few weeks as pre-orders are now available, with the boot fully released on the 14th November. Available in hard or soft ground.
The Adidas Predator X continues to give power, swerve and control as they have done throughout their life, with the power coming from the all new ‘powerspine’ which is Adidas technology that minimizes the energy loss during a shot by reducing the flex in the forefoot area. The swerve element of the Predator X is new, using a rubber-silicon mix that is placed on the part of the foot most used to impact maximum swerve and allows for a high friction rate to impact that swerve. This area has moved slightly from the powerswerve after many consultations with top professionals and many months of testing.
So, you’ve seen the images, you’ve read about the technology behind them, all that is left to do if you are convinced is to go and buy them!
