Adidas Predator Football Boots have been around since 1994, and have gone through evolution to 2009 and the Adidas Predator Powerswerve boots available now. The powerswerve’s are worn by many top international players such as Beckham, Gerrard, Ballack, Xavi and Raul amongst others.

The main feature of the Predator Powerswerves is the high tech Smartfoam in the main predator part of the boot, which helps players create the most power and swerve when kicking the ball.

The Predator Powerswerve comes in three studs variations, SG for soft ground, FG for firm ground and HG for hard ground (where available). Check out the prices below and think about the surfaces you generally play on over a season and get the correct stud set for you.

In December ’08, Adidas released a couple of new versions of the Predator Powerswerve’s – each with a slighty different take on the core functions of the Predator, power and swerve.

The first of these is the white/silver/black colourway, which comes with extra POWER. There is an additional 10 grams of tungsten powder on the insole of this model, which gives the player optimum power.

The second are the indigo/silver/pool colourway, which have extra SWERVE. There is an additional liquid rubber area on the surface of this model of boot which allows the player to get the best possible swerve on the football.

There is also a limited edition FANTASY orange pair of Adidas Predator Powerswerves. Predator’s can fade into the background a bit when you compare them to something like the Nike Mercurial’s, so these bright orange boots try and rectify that situation a bit!
